Susan Levine, Ed.D.
Riverside County Office of Education Director II
Dr. Susan Levine is a New Jersey native who relocated to California in 1989 with her family. She holds a BA in French from Rutgers University, an MA in French and Education from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an Ed.D. in Leadership for Educational Justice from the University of Redlands . Dr. Levine has worked in many positions in education over the last 37 years. She began her career as a French teacher in Wisconsin and after 12 years of teaching, she followed the path to become a school administrator. Dr. Levine has served as MS/HS Assistant Principal, HS Principal, Assistant Superintendent of Personnel Services and Educational Services, and District Superintendent. She is currently the Director II of Pupil and Administrative Services at the Riverside County Office of Education. In this capacity, she supports the Child Welfare and Attendance Directors from the 23 county school districts, providing training, support and technical assistance in the area of pupil services. She collaborates on several professional development workshops for the Riverside County and statewide education community.Dr. Levine enjoys spending time with her adult sons, reading and attending plays and concerts.
